They say time heals, but for our family, time is measured in “before” and “after.” Before March 2024, we were preparing to welcome our third child, our first son. After 39 weeks and 4 days of a healthy pregnancy, Dalen was born still. The silence of that moment broke us in ways we never thought possible.

As we navigated the early days of grief, we realized how difficult it is for the world to witness such a loss. We were surrounded by love and supported in countless ways by those closest to us, yet there was a lingering shadow—the reality that many people simply didn’t know what to say or how to help.

This website is born from that experience. It is a tribute to our son and a guide for those who are standing in the wreckage of a broken heart from infant loss, looking for a way forward.
